Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing
The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, built by Daimler-Benz AG, was a two-seat sports car that is primarily known for its distinctive gull-wing doors. The 300 SL was the very first fuel-injected car on the consumer market, and was the fastest car in the world in its day. The "300" in its name refers to the three litre cylinder capacity; "SL" stands for "Sport Leicht" (Sport Light).
The Gull-wing version was on the market from 1955 to 1957, and the roadster from 1957 to 1963.
