Can you tell us something about the course of your career?
I have been working for Dockx Rental for nine years now. My strong work ethic has enabled me to seize new opportunities and grow within the company. I started as an employee in the Dockx Service Shop and am now the Shop Manager of our largest branch in Wilrijk. So I have already had a very good run at Dockx Rental.
What do you like most about your job?
The variety is the best thing about the job. Because we come into contact with a lot of customers and receive very diverse requests, no two days are the same. This ensures that the job remains challenging. I also get a lot of satisfaction from the contact with other people, both with our customers and with my colleagues. As a born people manager, I get enormous pleasure from supporting my colleagues and employees. The pleasant ambience we have among colleagues makes me happy to go to work every day. A good team spirit is very important to do the job well and we manage to do it flawlessly.
What are your main tasks?
My main tasks as manager of the largest branch of Dockx consist mainly of supervising the day-to-day business (fleet management, invoicing, follow-up of projects), managing and supporting the team, and helping customers. I still like to work in the shop myself.
Why do you think customers should choose Dockx?
The personal service. We always strive to treat each customer as we would like to be treated ourselves. That’s why we make an extra effort to ensure that our customers have a pleasant memory of the rental. And we do this quite well, if I do say so myself. We score very high on customer satisfaction.
Do you have a passion for cars?
I love driving cars, especially sports cars. Sports cars have always been my boyhood dream.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My free time is mainly spent with my family. For example, we put together these fun Dockx vehicles. Yep, passion for the job. I also play football on Saturdays and go cycling with my mountain bike club on Sundays. I like to be active
Do you like to listen to music?
I certainly enjoy listening to music. Although, I’m not musically inclined at all. My Spotify playlists range from rap/R&B to techno and après-ski music. So you could say that I have a very diverse range.
The holidays are behind us again. What was your most memorable holiday?
A few years ago, I spent Christmas and New Year in Dubai with my wife and daughter. That was a truly unique and unforgettable holiday!
What is your personal highlight in your life?
That is the birth of my daughter Lucia, without a doubt. She’s already seven years old.
Who or what makes you laugh?
I like watching stand-up comedians. Alex Agnew, David Chapelle, and Gabriel Iglesias always make me laugh. My colleague Michaël also comes pretty close.
