No, fuel is not included in the rental price. You always depart with a full tank and return the vehicle full. If you don't return it full, we will refuel at the daily rate — this amount will appear on your final invoice.

The rental price includes free kilometres. The exact number depends on the vehicle type and rental period. When making your online reservation, you always see the number of included kilometres and the price per extra kilometre. For more information, you can also contact your Dockx Service Shop.

Yes, you can travel abroad with a Dockx rental vehicle — but only to countries on the approved list. We strongly recommend taking out additional travel assistance insurance.

Without travel assistance insurance, no repatriation is provided in case of breakdown or accident for the vehicle, driver or passengers. Dockx Rental ensures vehicle repatriation only in case of technical defect for which the rental company is responsible. In case of breakdown or accident, you can always reach us via our 24/7 assistance line.

For a fully electric Dockx rental vehicle, you return it with the same battery level (%) as at departure. If this is not the case, we charge the vehicle at €0.72 per kWh — this amount appears on your final invoice.

Is the battery level below 20% on return?

• On top of the energy cost, we charge an additional loss of income of €50. The vehicle cannot be rented out while it is charging.
• Did you depart yourself with a battery level below 20% (because Dockx Rental had no other option)? Then we only charge the loss of income if the difference in battery level between departure and return exceeds 5%.

At pick-up in your Dockx Service Shop, ask about the charging procedure and the available charging card — this way you avoid surprises at final billing.
