Yes, you pay a security deposit for each rental. The amount depends on the vehicle type and the duration of the rental agreement.

You can pay the deposit in cash, by Bancontact or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). For certain vehicle categories, we only accept a credit card. The credit card holder must be present at pick-up.

In exceptional cases — with a long-term customer relationship and after approval from our accounting department — the deposit may be waived.

At Dockx Rental, you pay in cash, by Bancontact or by credit card. For certain vehicles, the deposit can only be paid by credit card. Ask for payment options per vehicle at your Dockx Service Shop or check them when making your online reservation.

Final billing takes place when you return the vehicle. If you return the vehicle outside office hours, please visit the Dockx Service Shop where you returned it within three days for billing and payment.

No, the credit card doesn't need to be in the main driver's name. However, mandatory: the credit card holder must be personally present at vehicle pick-up.

Your deposit will be refunded no later than 5 working days after your invoice is created. Did you pay the deposit in cash and want it refunded the same way? State this explicitly when picking up the vehicle. Otherwise, we will refund the amount to the account number you provide.

Your invoice is sent to you by email when the vehicle is returned. You can always view your invoices in 'My account' on dockx.be.
